There have been threads about getting a visa to pakistan in the past, I do not remember the details.

I had trouble getting a visit a few of years ago to see my then fiance in Pakistan and I'm Muslim so I know it can be hard. Have you thought about Dubai or anywhere in the UAE? I think it is fairly easy for Pakistani's to travel there and it's pretty safe for Americans. As others have said, you need to overcome the doubts USCIS has about you as a couple. If you do marry in a 3rd country make sure to have his family there for the wedding and get lots of pics with them. I couldn't meet mymother in law since I couldn't get a visit visa, but I had pics with 2 of his sisters that live in Europe which I think may have helped. There are many people in Pakistan that accept other religions, but it's not the norm so showing pics with his family (especially the parents) show that they accept you and might help with the USCIS issue in the future. Good luck on your journey!

You really are going to have to tale that leap and apply. You have sited one person out of the thousands who apply and get Visa's. Many here have you reached out to any Pakistani members and asked them how they did it. I have yet to read anyone getting denied.

You were denied you need to build your case. You need to meet his parents plan and simple. Get to Pakistan.

Calling the embassy is like calling USCIS misinformation line. It is not hard o get a Visa log as you get your ducks in a row. Maybe invest in a Visa consultant firm that knows how to do it right and present the documents you need to be successful.

My husband and I had the same problem. I was afraid to go to Pakistan, so we met in Serbia for 2.5 years. However, with what is happening in Europe with migration, I wouldn't plan on getting a visa in many of those places. They are up to their wazoos in their own problems. My husband and I tried to get married in Serbia over the course of two years. They kept making excuses, rolling their eyes at me (the American), etc. We finally ended up getting married in Pakistan after knowing each other almost 5 years. It was very hard to find an Imam that would marry a Muslim man and a Christian woman. But we finally did it! I am getting ready to leave from my second visit to Pakistan, and yes, it is dangerous. My hubby is a travel/tour director, so he knows the ropes. But this trip, and being Ramadan, we have barely been out and about. It's good to be super cautious. I wouldn't come during Ramadan again, just hard to follow a different schedule and the heat is a killer.

I wish you luck. We had looked into places...Dubai, various places in Europe, some of the southern islands (look up on the internet for easy places to get married). But it would have cost a ton of money for travel, etc. In some of these places you have to stay for 2 weeks before getting married. I would think it would be difficult for your hubby to get a visa unless he has a real legitimate reason and it takes money and time. Even my husband with his tour experience and business, had a difficult time. Your best bet is to come here and get married in Pakistan. However, they may want you to convert to Islam, which is your own decision. You will probably have a hard time finding an Imam to marry you two since you are not a Muslim.

I forgot to add that I also applied for a Pakistan visa last summer and was turned down because I was asking for a visitor visa. As my hubby owns a travel agency, I reapplied for a tourist visa, and he wrote a letter as a tour guide vouching for me. I think that visa was only for 30 days. I had already paid for an airline ticket (stupid move), so I lost that money involved as I had to go later than planned. This second Pakistan visit, I applied again and they gave me a 1 year visa, although I had asked for a 5 year one. But I was also married to a Pakistani this time, so I'm sure that made it easier.

You have to be prepared to spend a ton of money on all of this.

The easiest 3rd party country for you to get married in would be the Seychelles- this would be quite costly

If you would like information on a visitor visa let me know and I will provide details, I have obtained a visa twice with no issue

Also, I although some areas of Pakistan are certainly unsafe, Punjab is generally safe, I have been there a few times and never had an issue, just dress in the local clothing and make sure to cover your hair
