Ds-160 please help

Hello everyone!

*I am having a hard time finding the amount to pay for the DS-160...I believe it is $160, is that correct?

*Next: my fiance does not have access to a computer/printer (there's a chance he may be able to find one to use) if he can't find one what are the options as far as printing off the confirmation number after he submits the DS-160 form? I also feel like I read about something else he needs to print off. It's so frustrating when he lacks the resources to do this paperwork

You don't pay for DS-160. You pay for the visa and that is $265.

Can't he find a print/copy shop and print there? That's what I did. Otherwise he can send it to you via e-mail after he finish and you can print it out and send it to him.

He did find a cafe now so that's a relief!

So since I have the number from NVC I can now fill out the Ds-160, have him sign...submit...and print off the confirmation number. Then he goes to SogXpress to pay the $265. Then we can schedule the medical and interview at which time he brings the confirmation page and reciept, am I understanding that correctly?

Do we need to wait for them to send the packet 3? Do they email that or DHL? what is included in that packet?

Sorry for all the questions but I truly appreciate all the help!

Your timeline says texas. Look under your Flag in this post

The number for the DS-160 is the receipt number.

How they do it at your embassy I can't answer since that is very different from embassy to embassy

I can't get the Texas service center to change to California, I even said it was transferred to California (from California) and it is still saying Texas....sorry!

I just finish the ds-160 and it did required the passport number it also required his mom and dad birthday and if he has any siblings in USA he needs their name in there as well, he also need to know their immigration status.

The application is self explanatory not hard at all just make sure you read everything and double check before submitting.

Hey so when you filled out the DS-160 was that before or after you sent out your I-129F? Also do they have to pay that money at SogXpress right away? I'm so confused about the visa part I thought that was the last step. So we fill that out even before knowing they got approved? I'm completely new to all of this and want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly.
