hey guys anyone can help

anyone coming from bosnia or serbia

which route would be the best less crowed

from germany to chicago or poland to chicago or even austria to chicago thanks ?

I have been to Belgrade, Serbia, 6 times from Tennessee. It's not a bad flight at all...whether you go through Germany, Switzerland, any place. Going through Dulles is not bad. Detroit is a nice easy airport. The trick is just giving yourself enough time between flights. I know it sounds excessive, but I always try to give myself at least 3-4 hours in between flights, because they can be late.

Where are you going to in the USA? Are you staying in Chicago? If so, you are lucky to have that as your final stop. You could get a flight straight to Chicago out of Germany or any other big airport.

My parents are coming next week from Belgrade. I booked tickets for them via Germany and Austria on their way back.

Although Turkish Airlines is great, cheap and comfy, I used them once and probably never again. It is just too much to go to turkey, layover and come back to Serbia. Adding additional 5 hours to a flight. Any euro city would be ok.

I used Lufthansa and American and was well satisfied with them. However, unlucky me, I got in the middle of a workers' strike one time, so had to rebook. But it was a great airline.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

O'Hare is huge, I don't know if there is any major European airline left that does not have a non-stop flight to O'Hare. I personally like my Turkish Airlines but Istanbul is almost always final destination. With the transit in mind, you may not like coming back in the other direction. Check Lufthansa, Air France, British, even Swiss, Alitalia too. Whichever gives the best price go with that one.

In terms of crowd, it is summer time now and oil prices are cheap (hence tickets too), I don't think any of these flights would have an empty seat flying in the US for the next couple months.
