Hi..i have a question i was divorced and my last name my ex husband name and now i remarried with other man with my same name and my same name is also in marriage certificate .but when i apply citizenship it takes problem or not .can i change my last name when apply citizenship or not.wil they ask me why u dont change ur name before plz reply me

So, you used your previous married name for all your new documents? Marriage certificate, AOS, ROC and so on? Just make sure you have plenty of copies of your marriage certificate and other documentation to prove who you are and you should be fine.

you won't have any problems. It is up to you to take your current husband's name or leave whatever name you have had before. I did the same. I divorced and got married again and left my ex's last name. And they will never ask you anything. It is YOUR RIGHT to have the name you want. Just make sure you have the same name on all your documents to avoid confusion and that's all.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I doubt anyone will care that you kept your ex's name. It's actually your name so don't worry about that. That being said, I believe the form for citizenship has a spot where you can submit a name change.
