Why is NVC processing time different for individual case?

Was wondering what the reason was for different processing time. Does NVC catogorizes cases based on embassies? I've noticed some cases was completed within 2 weeks. We submitted everything through Email on May 30 and still haven't heard back anything yet. I hope we don't have to wait 30 days for the checklist.

PI was expedited for a long time. I don't know if they are but could be for CR-1 visa's. Again don't know if the still are.

Other then that remember no cases are the same, there can be more security checks on some cases then others.

Thanks. What's PI? I'd imagine we are the ones that don't need excessive background check since our petition was approved really fast at USCIS. Sorry, just frustrating...
