If you have done all the steps than that means you are waiting for case complete right. Nothing much else to do but wait. After case complete then you wait for Interview scheduling. Jamaica is scheduling now for August.

What is your scan date (the date you sent in your AOS and IV package)?

Can you update your profile to the correct Visa type you seek. You have K1. Should be IR1/CR1. Thank you

For me the fee was invoiced April 25 and the package was received May 12. Had to send in 2 missing documents which was received June 19. In the CEAC system the AOS fee says paid.

Although the fees have been paid, the AOS/financial and civil docs says N/A?

if no issues 30 to 45 days you should get Case Complete. You can always monitor and watch for the 3rd N/A that's the AOS fee changing for PAID to N/A.

Most people call when they see that. Otherwise you get a Case complete email 1 week after case complete. So yes you have to wait a while to hear from them if you don't plan on calling them..

Those two never change. Now you are waiting for the AOS fee to change from PAID to N/A that's the 3 N/A's means Case Complete.

I'm new to the website. Wanted to post our timeline which could help someone else... My husband is from Jamaica and we are working on the spousal visa.

Jan 14, 2016 Acceptance Confirmation from Chicago Lockbox

Apr 14, 2016 Welcome letter to choose agent

Apr 25, 2016 Letter to pay fees and start application

May 12, 2016 Letter that documents were received on May 9, allow 30 days for processing

June 10, 2016 Letter to submit missing documents (birth and police certificate, which I thought he could submit at interview)

Checked usps tracking today and the documents were delivered today, expecting an email in a few days that they received it. Wondering if it will take an additional 30 days to review? And if that completes the file, how long will it take to receive an interview?

Also, was surprised it moved to the next step after the acceptance in 3 months. When I checked the processing times at the time, it was 5 months. So I'm praying it will keep moving quickly.

My husband case was processed at NVC on May 5th, his interview was today and he got approved. So if you are a US citizen, the next step will be in a few short months. All the best.

Thank you!! Yes, I'm a citizen. Hoping for an interview in the next round, which I guess will begin at the end of August. How was your husband's experience at the interview?
