NOA1 date on timeline

Simple question. I just received my text with my case number. Should I enter this date in the timeline or wait til I get the actual form I-797 in the mail

When you receive the NOA1 hardcopy it'll say "Notice Date" in the upper corner, that's NOA1 on VJ, that's what people put in their timelines.

But when you call USCIS they go by the date they recieved it, which is another than the "notice date" according to the Tier 2 we've talked to, a little confusing. Our NOA1 on here is December 30, but it's December 28 on USCIS.

K-1: 12-22-2015 - 09-07-2016

AP: 12-20-2016 - 04-07-2017

EAD: 01-18-2017 - 05-30-2017

AOS: 12-20-2016 - 07-26-2017

ROC: 04-22-2019 - 04-22-2020
Naturalization: 05-01-2020 - 03-16-2021

U.S. passport: 03-30-2021 - 05-08-2021
