Hello where can I find the adjusment gross income in the IRS TRANSCRIPT?

My father is my joint sponsor and my mom is his household member. they filed taxes together.

In my father's I864

federal income tax return information

most recent tax year

total income

do i put their adjusted gross income together or my father's total wages for 2015.

Help...

And also can i put the total wages for the tax return year income instead of agi?

Im confused on part 6 section 19a.

i dont know

if should put my dads total earned wages

or what since he files taxes with my mom.

Unless they filed an 1040EZ they would put their total income not adjusted gross income.

Why not let them fill out their forms?

A tax return transcript has a line titled "total income". Use that in the tax section. For current income, for example, take the gross pay from a two-week pay stub and multiply by 26. Do the same for mom if she has income. Both forms will show their joint income in the tax section. I also suggest you download and carefully study the instructions for each form. It will be critical to your ultimate success.

hi thank you so much. yes for the current income. i did what you said and both got an employment letter. I am confused on the tax section. I dont know if the total income in the tax section will be the same on both applications (I864 and I864a) since they filed their taxes together.
