Camotes Island! Secluded, beautiful, and so much to do. Rent Borromeo beach house. It's like 2,500 pesos to rent and so spacious! There's people that watch over the house, they went to the market for us and cooked for us, etc. So accommodating and pretty cheap.

I'm not going to tell you my favorite, but we've stayed at the Bohol Beach Club and had a great time. We arrived at the port of Tagbilaran via fast ferry. Ride to BBC was about 20 mins or so via taxi.

Great beaches, nice accommodations and plenty of food. Take as many pesos as you think you might need because the exchange rate at the BBC is worst I've seen in the PI., but you can take a cab into town and exchange money there if you plan a town trip.

If your looking for quiet and relaxing I would recommend Camiguin Island. We stayed there at the Volcan Eco Resort for 4 days. They are small bungalos on the Northwest side of the island. The resort has a dock for sunset yoga classes and the sunset is fabulous. Looking out over the ocean with nothing but the sun and the see. You can watch til the moment the sun disappears. We went snorkeling, ziplining., swam in the cold springs. They also have diving. We rented a small jeepney and driver for the entire day for 1500 pesos and a grand tour of the island. The resort is owned by a German and the landscaping is very relaxing with hammocks and swings. Warning: no lounging around your room all day watching tv. There is no TV. Get out and enjoy!!!

My asawa and I choose to go to Bantayan Island one right off Cebu Island. It is a small not really commercial island but it has some small resorts on it. The water quality was really good and the beach was great. I would fully recommend this island to go too. The only thing my wife complained about was that our room didn't have a tv so she could watch her show. She didn't say anything about literally being feet away from water.

I agree Bantayan was Great a boat trip over to the Virgin island was really neat. The boat will pick you up right on the beach

We've always enjoyed Puerto Galera White Beach. We stay at the Sea Jewel resort, the rooms are nice, the staff is friendly, and they have a backup generator.
