Or maybe someone thinks they are super relevant enough to post a carpal tunnel inducing 6 page post, that no one gives 2 1/2 of 1 care less about and demand we read it and respond and when no one responds because they don't want to waste 10 mins of Thier life reading said Non sense, the delusional poster declares some imagined moral victory.

I think that's called delusional grandeur chat room syndrome

The above post is what happens when someone is asked to actually think about the rediculous garbage his hero ---member name removed--- posts. A simple "I choose not to think!" would have sufficed.

The nonsense is taken directly from presidential quotes on whitehouse.gov

Plenty of Islamist fodder for some to hang on the president

Here is just one quote, do you agree with it?

Some of the comments that have been uttered about Islam do not reflect the sentiments of my government or the sentiments of most Americans. Islam, as practiced by the vast majority of people, is a peaceful religion, a religion that respects others. Ours is a country based upon tolerance and we welcome people of all faiths in America."

So what is the majority view in Islam on say the LGBT community?

I seem to have seen plenty of studies mentioned.

I really don't know, I am sure if you look at the views the vary between countries, communities and sects it would vary tremendously and that we would have a hard time having a conversation with the more fundamentalist believers on the topic. But wouldn't we say the same about someone from The US or UK just a few decades ago?

My question is what is your opinion of the pro-Islamist quotes from president G.W.Bush above?

It's interesting this subject has come up a bit more lately. As for attitudes about the LGBT community abroad it has more to do with the behavior of governments rather than the will of people. In fascist and dictatorship religion-state societies, people will say anything to survive and act like a good subject, thus I often wonder of the accuracy of these polls. However, it makes little difference to me. Many of these countries are stuck in the 'dark ages'. Christianity went through that difficult phase too, a phase that many would like to bring back here and help do so abroad.

About studies and historical context and how do those gay Muslims feel.

''Muslim attitudes about LGBT are complex, far from universally anti-gay''

''In the U.S., a 2014 Pew Research Center study shows, Muslim Americans are less accepting of homosexuality than Americans as a whole: 47 percent of U.S. Muslims said it should be discouraged and 45 percent said it should be accepted.

But they were not the religious group that was most disapproving: Evangelical Christians, Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons oppose homosexuality by larger margins.''

I know? Read the links maybe? I know reading it is a lot to ask, because reading is hard and sense sounds like nonsense to some, but it's pretty comprehensive.

The Majority view is the same and as complex as any you find in Christian circles. And the Majority view in other countries, reflects those views promoted and enforced by their governments.

Since the majority of followers of Islam are abroad, and the question asked was the blanket opinion of Muslims on LGBT, I think the thoughtful response was spot on. I'm sad but mildly amused by the biggest denyers are the first to claim that thoughtful opinions are mere denial of their own closed-minded opinion.

How many Christian nations can being gay carry the death penalty.

I won't bore anyone with pages of quotes or links.

But it's really as simple as putting the square peg in the square hole, so it should be simple for all you self proclaimed super thinkers

There are at least 10 countries in the World, in which being gay is possibly punishable by death or draconian punishment

Guess what they have in common ?

Now for extra points

The countries with the most Gay friendly laws

Guess what they have in common

To get it below the 2nd grade comprehension level and to help you guys out

It's not geography or race
