We received our biometrics appt letter - it's for April 10th at 9 am in the Tampa office, but I was wondering - is your appt time the actual time you go or do they just have everyone get there and wait? I need to know so I can take a half day or full day off - husband wants me to come.

When we went to our appt in omaha we sat with at least 20 people in a waiting room. It took at least 45 minutes to get in our appt. but the whole process took us no more than 2 hours. I think it will vary from person to person though. I took the whole day off and didnt really need to, but better safe than sorry i suppose. i hope this helps a little

i did mine in tampa in february. You can get there about 1 hour before your apt time. Then it is a first come first serve type of thing. It took us about 3 hours. The actually bio took about 15 minutes. We went about 3 hours early and they sent us back and said we can be there 1 hour before.
