USPS Express Shipping - Signature vs. No Signature

I just mailed out our joint petition for I-751.

The packet didn't fit in the priority or express flat rate envelope so I decided to express it because they said priority by weight would be Friday or Saturday or maybe even Monday next week. I didn't feel comfortable for that late delivery with all that information in the package. But when you do express, they ask if you want USCIS to sign or not... I didn't know what USCIS policy about this is and I waived the signature (as in USCIS does not need to sign). Is that okay? or should I have chosen signature required? I am a little worried about that now. What does USPS do for express deliveries without signature? Want to make sure USCIS gets it.

Also, I did. It choose return receipt. Is that okay?

I sent by usps priority mail express with signature request. Usps gave me the right package (not a flat rate envelope), the price was calculated based on the weight ($50) and mail was delivered on the next day.

Without a signature you can still track your package and know when it was delivered.

You will not get signature. You know why? USCIS is taking their correspondence themselves from that post office and worker of course not giving signature to be responsible if...something. The will give you some sort of notification that it's delivered but no signature. Did it, called actually to post office and this is what they said.
