Moved and sponsor friend's wife

Hi All

I have a few questions here

1. I just moved to new place and just wondering that is it be ok to file AR-11 online form or should I need to send USCIS that form in Mail too ??

2. I just sponsor to my friend's wife and moved to new place ? Should I need to fill I-865 ? is it online or after fill that form I need toMAIL to USCIS ?

3. Since I already sponsor to my friend's wife - Is it going to hurt on my application when I am going to file for my wife ??

--- one of my friend got his citizenship interview a year ago but still didn't got invitation for oath yet and whenever he got to call or take infopass USCIS is saying that your case is still under process? Any light on his case ?

You need to send I-865 by mail.

You can change the address online.

Yes i-865

Once your friend's wife becomes resident, your household size needs to include her when you are filing for your wife. So your minimum income requirements will go up for your i864.

Thanks for your Reply Arken.. I appreciate it.. will let my friend know to contact Senator or congressamna.. but I think he told me that he already contact congressman and did a lot of time infopass... and I think he hire an attorney now . Thanks again.

1. I thought I am the joint sponsor but now I double check that my friend got papers from me I-864 not I-864A so I believe I am the only Sponsor correct ? (I need help ASAP because now I feel betrayed) and can I took back I-864 (Cancel) my sponsorship since his wife still not here in united states and file isstill under process from last 42 months ?? WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR CANCEL MY SPONSORSHIP ?

2. He has his 2 month old son too and when I checked I-864 form .. it shows only me, my wife and his wife .. what about new born ? We don't need to show new born on I-864?

I need help ASAP .. Please somebody help me. I didn't want to messed up anything since next year I need to file for my wife too.

You are the joint sponsor. Form i-864 is the correct form for you and you would have checked "I am the only joint sponsor" option on that form. Even as a joint sponsor, once she becomes a GC holder and in case your friend cannot support his wife or even if they get divorced, it's your responsibility to provide her support at a minimum level defined by poverty guidelines. if she gets food stamp or like that, US can make you pay for that. If you want to withdraw it, you can mail the appropriate office like USCIS/NVC/embassy wherever it's getting processed at. If his wife already got the immigrant visa or GC, you are too late.

As long as the child is not mentioned on your i864, you don' t have to support the child.
