i suggest you get your sight checked out as i never said anything about needing to purchase one of the fancy letternumber guns illegally.

i wouldn't have any issues getting a pass from the 'alphabet of government agencies' and i've got money.

please explain your point, assuming you had one.

ok

why would it bother me? if i want, i could go buy some of them fancy letterguns with all the parts and stuff right now. didn't even have to sign my life over to the government or sacrifice a smidgen of my autonomy to do so.

how would you get your hands on a 'fancy lettergun' without 'signing my life over to the government' or 'sacrificing a smidgen of my autonomy to do so.'? unless you were to do so illegally?

my point is...you're full of it.

'signing my life over to the government' and/or 'sacrificing a smidgen of my autonomy to do so' were references to joining the military. civilians are allowed to purchase the fancy letterguns marines use. i don't consider background checks on par with the personal sacrifice of voluntary military service.

The M16 which is an automatic weapon was standard issue in Nam. Automatic weapons aren't legally available the public. The AR15 is a semiautomatic weapon and is like any other semiautomatic weapon. Many of your everyday hunting rifles are semiautomatic weapons such as the AR15 which is popular for hunting feral hawgs.

Automatic weapons are legally avaliable to the public with the right paper work

Some people use guns to hurt people, some don't. To demonize anyone who lawfully owns/uses a gun really dismisses an argument to begin with. Sort of the same way giving a 100% free pass to the guns role in these types of tragedies equally dismisses an argument.

Funny you use this argument. Some people kill people and are of the islamic faith and some dont kill people and are of thr Islamic faith. To demonize anyone who lawfully abides by Islam and they are not killing people really dismisses an argument to begin with.

Even with the paperwork it takes nothing short of an act of god.

A competition shooter would prefer the bottom one for accuracy of course. Guns like the min14 and their older brethern (m1 garand & m14) have bedding issues with age.

There is a bit of a joke about the m1 in that the more you take it apart the less accurate it is. Its due to the wooden stock stretching over time.

That's funny coming from someone who has no idea what we are talking about.

i gather it has something to do with boys, size and suppression and you're right - it is pretty funny.

Hey val, remind me of this when people start talking about their interpretation of the law.

Obviously some 5ft. tall meterosexual in the TV industry is going to have a lot of knowledge of guns and how they work. Next time I want advice about guns I'm going to write Conan seeing how he's an expert now. I'm sure he's out hunting when he's not getting his nails manicured.

Your premise is invalid. Conan is 6'4".

When it comes to guns Conan should stick to something like this.
