no. but, i bet it bothers you

why would it bother me? if i want, i could go buy some of them fancy letterguns with all the parts and stuff right now. didn't even have to sign my life over to the government or sacrifice a smidgen of my autonomy to do so.

If you read what I posted it and actually knew what I was talking about. You would have read that the majority of my ammo are steel casings and that they are put up in storage right now, because they can not be used on the range. You can go out and buy "Range Safe Ammo" which I have about 500 rounds of right now at my house. They are more expensive than the steel casing ammo so that is why you have to space it out what you buy unless you got that kind of money right off. I was actually planning on taking my niece that just came in town shooting this weekend that is why I have that ammo stored up right now.

Apologies. Just love to hear you talk guns;)

The 5.56 round going down range is the same exact bullet. OK it does not have a flash suppressor or bayonet lug or 3 round burst .

you gunna let him bash your manhood like that?

That's funny coming from someone who has no idea what we are talking about.

i gather it has something to do with boys, size and suppression and you're right - it is pretty funny.

Because I want a weapon that can help keep my family safe when SHTF, and one that I like to shoot as a hobby. I am a believer that it is not a matter of IF but When it does. So I want to be able to keep my family safe from people. Sorry I don't live in a world with rose colored glasses over my eyes thinking that government will be there when I need them and they will take care of people when we need them most. Sorry but the world as a whole is getting more dangerous for regular people and not less dangerous. I have a wife, 3 kids, and another one on the way. I am the one that my children look up to for protection, love, and guidance in life.

I've never understood this kind of logic. Where do you live if you think you need that kind of firepower to take care of your family? A handgun/shotgun is more than adequate to provide ample protection. I'm a fan of the M-16 due to my Army days, but having one in the home just doesn't make sense. Unless it's a full on zombie attack OR you live in a literal war zone, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to have such a weapon IMO.

7.62 works for me every time.

But up for better offers;)
