46 years actually. For the same reason that when I went to school everyone carried a buck knife and many had hunting rifles in their trucks and were allowed to bring them in school for show and tell, yet know one every got hurt.

What's the difference between love and hate?  Easy. When somebody loves you, he wants you to be strong, mentally, spiritually and physically. When somebody hates you, then he wants you to be weak mentally, physically, spiritually. Hate is a form of competition, you want to be stronger than the one you hate, therefore you want to weaken him.  Owning guns is a form of strength, it helps you protect yourself from hostile forces, from people who hate you. Those who love you want you to be able to defend yourself, they want you to have weapons. In contrast, those who hate you, want you to be dead, they don't want you to be able to defend yourself, they want you to be disarmed, they want you to be weak.  Therefore this whole gun issue has a much deeper spiritual connotation to it: It's a kind of Litmus test to discern between those who hate you and those who love you. Never trust anyone who wants to weaken you, who wants to see you being helpless.  Obviously slave owners want their slaves to be helpless, the same way a farmer wants his cattle to be helpless. Imagine cattle with guns defending their lives against farmers - the farmers wouldn't like that for sure. Being a member of the elite is all about human farming.  If you want to know if someone loves you, then just ask him whether he wants you to own a gun or if he wants you to be helpless. All criminals who want to hurt you obviously want you to be as helpless as possible, for criminals don't want to be met with any resistance when committing a crime.  Those who want to take away your guns from you are the very same who want to take away your money from you. They want to weaken you on all levels, also financially and on any other level you may imagine. Therefore this whole gun issue goes much deeper. Democrat Obama/Hillary voters hate you.

Hillary hates gay people or she would return the money she has taken from countries that have the death penalty for being gay.

.The AR-15 does have an advantage in long range shooting over said handguns . All these recent mass shootings are done at close range ... 50-75 feet or less. .. 357 mag at 20 feet would be just as deadly as an AR-15 .... This last shooter had hours in the nightclub before the police decided to act. . I am a bit surprised that he did not shoot everyone ... Twice .... as what happened I believe in the Virginia shooting. The shooter came back and shot bodies lying on the floor . ... after the first walk through.

Banning a certain weapon will do nothing to stop mass killings . People improvise .. folks are determined to act. This last shooter fought his way past an off duty police officer . .

It is hard to understand, but in some parts of the US there is no internet, cell reception is not great. Mail is not delivered to your house. Jobs that pay are few and far between. The only way to survive is to hunt, fish, garden and cut wood to keep warm in the winters. A firearm is a tool for survival. Just as having a dog in these cases is used as a tool to survive.....and also serves as a great loving friend. We don't all live in cities and some enjoy the "back woods" life
