Ever notice the same people that tell us it's not fair to judge Muslims by the acts of a few want to take away our guns based on the actions of a few

I think if we can build a wall to keep out Mexicans and misquitos, we should just build an interior wall for gun possessers where good gun owners can safely possess the guns they desire, bad gun owners can be shot or shoot fellow gun owners at will. The paradise made safely inside the interior wall by unimpeded gun possession would have perks like no pesky laws about amounts of guns, or gun types right down to phalanx systems for the true aficionado. Heck perhaps even tactical nukes for those who desire true safety.

Not sure I saw this clarification in the thread : "On Monday night, officials clarified that the rifle Omar Mateen used in the shooting was not an AR-15, but a Sig Sauer MCX rifle." which is not a .22 caliber weapon

Yeah that shocked me as well. The AR-15's recoil is quite lite compared to say an AK-47. So I do not know how he got PTSD from it at all. I took my neighbor shooting last year with my Glock 22 and my AK,, while we were there we made friends with the guys in the booth next to us. I let them use my magazine for my Glock because they had forgotten theirs, and in return they let my friend find out shooting an AR-15 is. My neighbor/friend said that he was astonished at how lite the recoil was compared to my AK, and how he can just put the red dot on the target and fire. Needless to say he has more respect for firearms now that he has actually fired one.

I read his article yesterday. It was really pathetic, what a total girly man. Also untrue, the recoil from these guns is quite light.

The AR-15 was not built for slaughter in war zones, it is a civilian modification to a weapon built for slaughter in war zones.

But, we keep forgetting what the second amendment is for, it is specifically designed to enable the civilian population to be able to competently defend against a professional military. The SCOTUS won't ever recognize that, and most people are not on board with it, but it's historical fact nonetheless.

The guy is a joke. I don't endorse all arguments of gun rights people to be sure, but I find the general stupidity to be skewed toward the gun control group. When you think you're smart enough to push a law, but say things like a glock can take a bunch of clips (hi, obama), you're talking out of your depth.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

5.56 and .223 are basically the same round. Main difference is one is a the 5.56 is a Nato standard. Basically means you can shoot a .223 in a 5.56 weapon but not recommended in reverse. Short techno mumbo jumbo version.

It raises a point. Since everyone is claiming that the AR 15 is a military weapon, if he used .223 wylde or .223 Remington they are strictly speaking civilian cartridges.
