We have to go to the DMV today. I think I'd rather go to the dentist.

YUK... we did that yesterday (2 different DMV offices) for 1/2 the day, only to find out that we still can't do a dang thing on either license or ID. We were given wrong info the first time we went - they told us that he could take the test as soon as we had NOA1 for AOS - WRONG!!! - we have to now wait for full approval and show PR card. :angry: What a waste of time.

good news in there is that we then went to the police cafeteria for lunch (right behind DMV) and he ran into an officer he knew from training who gave us some good advice regarding work and will be able to help us as soon as he gets citizenship! :thumbs:

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

Hi every one. Well nothing out of this world here. I did get two touches recently I changed my pasword last night and today I loged in and I had a touch so I dont know if the auto email that CRIS sends when u change a paswords triggered the touch. Deep down inside of me I hope that its not the case and that it means that soon we will have good newds to share. On another note I have found a great we site to pass time and see movies LOL

Just go to that site click on what ever category you like and you will be entertained for hours There is no more need to rent DVDS. All the movies you ever wanted to see are there for your free viewing pleasure! I hope every one is going well. Does any one know if a change of pw causes a touch on the uscis website?

What a loooooonnnnngggg day. I only work half a day tomorrow bc i am going to see the MIAMI HEAT play. YEAH!!!!!! my feet are killing me and my bed is calling.

ugggh 2 1/2 hours at the DMV! No Texas ID for hubby until te EAD or Greencard :angry: well we are still better off than most. His Moroccan DL is good for one year from entry in TX. I just hope the officer who pulls us over realizes this. I think I am going to print off the law from the DMV website and carry it with the insurance! I did get my new license though!

You may also be able to get an ID with the AP document (we could in New York, according to their regulations). It's so hard to have to wait for all these things to be "official" here.

I'm on call tonight... anyone else still up? I have 10 open beds so I think I'm going to be busy doing admissions :wacko: so no sleep for me.

It's official. No more internet at work. So if you don't see me around as much that's why.

Have a check-up with the doc about my PCOS tomorrow so I have to get to bed. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll check in as often as I can.
