Hi, i have a 10 yr greencard. I cam here 2013 through k1. Me and my fiancee decided to not get married die to cultural issues. Right before i was about to go back home to philippines, i passed my nclex exam so i asked my fiancee if we could still get married. Then we did. But we never lived in a house together. We have separate lives. Then i got my 10 yr greencard. And we filed the divorce. He has been helpful through out the process. Now, should i wait for another 2 yrs before filing for citizenship? Or i can file it now? Thanks.

Seems like you two weren't planning to stay from the very beginning. Not sure which country you are from but these are the things that will affect negatively on your fellow country people.

TMI. The Q is if you deserve the American citizenship?

Everybody is different and unique. You can't judge all japanese based on the wrong thing that one japanese you knew, did. If you have said, that it will negatively affect my citizenship application, then i would appreciate the opinion. So should i also say that since you are a stereotype, all your fellow country people are? Something to think about before you say anything.

I'm sorry, but this sounds a lot like you two only got married so that you could get a Green Card. Never lived together? How did you pass Removal of Conditions? Or did you apply for your first GC after you have been married for 2 years already?

It seems like we did. We got married so I could get my SSN and working permit. Green card application I did on my own. I did not force him, i did not pay him. I did not lie to him. Some relationships just dont work out the we want it to be. So instead of holding on, and hurting yourself on the process, can we not try our best to stand again and be smarter than we are already.?

Really, you can't even understand english!!! Where did i say other japanese are also like you?? I mean to say that because of the immigration fraud done by the people like you, your fellow japanese will likely get more scrutenized during the interview and even the legitimate couple will be given difficult time by the embassy coz they will start having doubts on even the legit couples.
