It's been over a month and we haven't received the 'packet 3' documents.

My fiance is emailing the contact email address that was advised in the approval letter he received.

I've read that I can call the Sydney NVC to find out if they have recieced my case, but when attempting to call them I got stuck on a merry-go-round of "press this number if..." and no humans. Finally I got hold of someone, but he was from a different area, sounded like he had no idea what i was talking about and told me to email the Syd NVC... Im still not happy, I want to talk to a consultant that knows what I'm talking about and can give me some answers. Any suggestions?

Thank you

Sorry I now realise my message made no sense at all. I'm finding the process very confusing... My fiance is well worth it, but I'll be soo happy when all this is all over!!

So, I called the correct people and now have our case number :D The lady said the paper work was sent June 7th, so I'm hoping to receive it soon.

Is there anything I can do with my case number right now, or am I best to just wait to receive the paper work (paper work that I've seen people refer to as 'packet 3')?

Best to check with your consulate/ embassy. Some will allow you to start scheduling medical, interview, etc.

There's a lot to read and get to know, keep calm, this part is almost over.

Good luck!
