I got RFE

My paper for RFE came in the mail today. It's a weird one too....

I got RFE because I met my fiancee on a dating site. I'm a little confused in how to reply back to the RFE...

On answer 35, I put no that I didn't meet my fiancee through International Marriage Broker. However, they want proof that it wasn't an International Marriage Broker.

Confused on this line.... "As such, you just submit a copy of the signed written consent form authorizing the release of her personal contact information to you, or documentations to establish that the website is not an International Marriage Broker."

I've read others on here with the same RFE saying you need to print the "Terms and Conditions" of the site to establish that it's not an international marriage broker. You may also be able to contact the site for a letter stating that specifically.

I just read the sites "Terms and Conditions" . Sadly it doesn't say anything about that. The website was completely updated since the last time I used it....

I'll make an account on it an ask for a letter saying that they aren't one of those sites

Thank you.

Go to the dating website and print out there TOS, Terms of Service, it will state there that the website is not a marriage broker.

http://www.findloveasia.com/site/terms It may not mention it is not a marriage broker but it for sure does not say it is one. Send a copy.

What if the dating site doesn't reply back to me? I have also messaged them asking for them to explain if it's a marriage broker or not.

Here's how I'll reply to my RFE. I had my Fiancee write a reply and so did I. I have printed the terms and conditions along with the email I got from FindLoveAsia.

Re;Request for Additional Evidence

Dear USCIS,

The online dating site I have met Mirah on isn't an international marriage broker. I didn't pay any money for any kind of service. The dating site was 100% free to join and send unlimited messages to anyone. You are not told who to message or interact with. Also, the website isn't only for United States citizens to meet foreigners. You can date locally or try international from countries all over the world. It doesn't target any specific country or race.
So therefore what I'm trying to say is that www.FindLoveAsia.com is just a normal online dating site. It's no different than any other ones that are well known in the United States of America. Because once again, the online dating site I met Mirah on isn't an international marriage broker.
I have included proof to backup my statement. Also I have asked my Fiancee (Mirah) to send me a letter expressing her opinion as well.
  • Contents Included:
  1. Screenshot of www.FindLoveAsia.com
  2. Mirah Flor Baculio Olandria's respond
  3. FindLoveAsia Terms and Conditions
  4. FindLoveAsia email clarifying it's not an International Marriage Broker"""

Dear USCIS,
I, Mirah, A Filipino citizen, 24 years old met Joshua on FindLoveAsia. This is a free online dating site. You don't pay any money to be matched to a person or you aren't told who you should communicate with. FindLoveAsia is not an international Marriage Broker. It's just a normal dating site. No such services exist where they charge money for providing dating, matrimonial, matchmaking service, or social referrers between American citizens and foreign nationals.
Sincerely,
Mirah"""
