Visa expedite request

I applied for an expedite to my I-129F on June 1, 2016. I received a response on June 2 asking for more information. Sent documents June 6, and today (June 13) I got an email:

The status of this service request is:

On 06/01/2016, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-129F to notify us that you were requesting an expedited review of your case. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

We have received the information and/or documents you submitted and found that they meet the requirements for expedited processing of your I-129F.

You should receive a decision or notice of further action on your I-129F within 45 days of the date of this letter.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Now, I don't want to get my hopes up, but from the looks of it my expedite was approved. The case history on uscis.gov says the expedite request was completed, but it said that when they asked for more information as well.

Has anyone had a successful expedite request recently? If so, did you see something like this?

What visa are you applying for and did you have to fill out a specific form to file for expedite?

K1 visa. I called the military hotline and they submitted the expedite request for me. I then received my first email asking for more information and sent them 9 pages of supporting documentation (bills mainly). A week after I faxed I received what I posted.

You will need to expedite at nvc as well

Got an email last night confirming the expedite was approved!

For those wondering, I expedited on severe financial loss. I am currently stationed overseas and living with my fiancée. I am her financial supporter and stated when I go back to the states in September I would have to pay double bills (for the both of us) in 2 different countries. I sent copies of my current bills in Italy, my pay stub, my orders proving that I will actually be moving back to America, and a letter stating the financial hardship this will cause.

After reading about everyone else's expedite requests, and how most get declined especially for financial loss, I didn't have much hope. Figured it wouldn't hurt anything to try though, and I am so happy I did.

1 day from the time my expedite was approved, my I-129F was approved! Still waiting on a NOA2, but case tracker says it was approved.
