I am a us citizen, my Mom came to U.S. to visit me on a B2 visa, she entered U.S. on October 1st, 2015, and her I-94 expired on 03/31/2016. I applied for I-130 for her on October 23, 2013, and her I-130 was approved on March 2, 2016. I then applied I-485, I-765 and I-131. Yesterday, Mom received her Employment Authorization Card and I-512 combo card. My family booked a cruise trip to Alaska leaving from Seattle on June 18, 2016 and return on June 25, 2016. The cruise is Holland America Line and will stop at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada for 1 day. So the question I have is can my mom travel to Canada on the cruise with her combo card and does her need a visa from Canada?

Contact your cruise line . As far as I know, if your mom is from China or another country for which Canada requires a visa, even if she stays on board, she would need a visa.

Look up cic.gc.ca - you might also want to call the Canada Border Services Agency at 506-636-5064

Once she has a valid Green card, no visa will be needed to visit Canada.
