Seeking another couple who has only met once and got approved.

We are a couple weeks away from the K1 fiancé visa embassy interview and desperately seeking some positive, motivational stories to get us through.

I am the US partner trying to stay as positive as I can and my foreign fiance is freaking out and extremely worried about our upcoming embassy interview.

I am not able to come due to not enough work vacation time, so that is 1 thing she worries about. Another is that we've been in a relationship 1.5 years and have only met one time, 2nd thing she worries about.

We have no "red flags". No prior marriages, no children, no criminal record.

Please, please any couples who have met only once prior to the interview, tell us your story.

How well you know each other should be your concern. 1.5 years and one time meeting shouldn't be a problem. Most regular jobs have about 2-4 weeks in vacation in a year. So one time meeting is reasonable. I believe you should calm she down and let her be relaxed because anxiety can cause you guys deadly. Good luck to you both.

This a rarity with Morocco but I had only visited my now husband just one time, filed for fiancé visa after 8 months..... I know how some people rant on about that not being enough time and a high fraud country would make it almost seem impossible but we went for it and he got his visa 9 months after filing. been married a short 4 years so far and have 2 kids and couldn't be happier. I hope the best for you.
