Hello sir/madam,I need your help please anybody . In 2012, I was invited to attend a conference and I was asked by the consular, if I was married or have kids? And my response was no, because I only have a girlfriend, who have a daughter, but she was not mine.and we don't married neither staying together . This is why, I didn't agree to the consular questions. Because I was afraid to create a future problem and I was denied with section 214(b). In 2013, ours love started going strongly, planning to get marriage in future and she was still staying with her parents. In 2013 November , I was also invited by a friend of mine to spend my annual vacation with her in the United States. The consular asked me, same question and my response was still the same.I am not married and I don't have a kid and I was also denied with the same section 214(b). But the CO didn't asked me about girlfriend, this is why my answer remain the same . In 2014 my girlfriend and I got married and I adopted my step daughter, because the father have abandoned her when she was pregnant. And I love her very much, her name is on all my insurance and property. In 2015, we participated in 2017 dv lottery and we was successful with good case 7***.my question here is, is this past record will affect our immigrants program? I will highly appreciate your response.

Thanks

The reason you were denied both times is that the officer sensed the potential immigrant intent that you, being an unmarried person with no kids back home, might simply live in the US and not return back.

This time the whole point of DV is to live in the US. So your past denail should have no adverse effect on your DV visa as long as you haven't lied.

Hello sir/madam, my wife is a PA and we won 2017 dv as family and we have a project under going. No body back home to trust with this project, so am deciding to stay back. If my wife go ahead with our daughter, how many years before she can file in for me? Do I need to fill my ds 260, pay medical fee and take part in her interview if am not going alone ? If she go ahead, will are have the opportunity to visit her? Before she can file for me.

Thanks

Only those who need a visa need to do the ds260, interview, medical etc

As for how long she can file, you need to ask on the spouse visa part of the forum - I believe she can file immediately but it can take a couple of years for the whole process to happen, and she has to be earning enough to petition for you

It can be difficult to get a visit visa if you have a spouse on a. Green card there as they suspect immigrant intent. It has been done but also many refusals. Hard to say what your case would be.

Bear in mind DV is the quickest, easiest and cheapest route to a green card out of all of them.

Hello someone special up there, please help me answer my question. Can my brother in-law pay our visa fee in the United States? If yes, whit is process.

Thanks

If you mean the visa interview fee, no. It must be paid at the embassy on the day of your interview.

However he can pay the green card fee (USCIS fee) that you will need to pay if successfully granted a visa. That is paid online.

Deleted my post -- had missed your post where you said your wife was the PA and I was asking about that. Edited by jan22

No the principle winner is dead. Where are you from really? Your pattern of writing seems to be a non native English speaker. As to the status of ready , assuming the AP found no faults the visa should be printed shortly.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I'm sorry to hear about his passing. Unfortunately unless they have all already been granted visas *and* entered, the family cannot continue. The principal is the one who gets the visa and the others are derivative; and even if the visas have been issued, if the principal has passed before entry the family cannot use them as they can only enter with or after the principal.
