For those of you who have experience with the New Delhi Embassy, can you tell me what comes in packet 3 other than the DS-230 part I? We found out today that the Mumbai Embassy has forwarded hubby's case to the proper embassy (New Delhi)..YAYYYYY  Anyway, they have attempted delivery of packet 3 but unfortunately hubby is in his hometown of kerala right now getting his birth certificate and a new copy of his passport. The guy at the help desk said he can pick up packet three and fill it out there and turn it in if he has everything he needs. He then told me they would schedule his interview for week or or two of the month following his submission of packet 3.

Sooooooo that leads me to my main question again. Other than DS-230 part I, what else will he need to have with him?

Thanks for the help. I can't begin to tell you how stressed I am about all of this.

**BUMP** Hopefully someone from Delhi will give you the info.

Otherwise, why not just have him come prepared with filled-out forms DS 156 & DS 156K? Those are the other two forms (besides DS 230) that are asked for in Packet 3, in many Consulates around the world (also 2 photographs and copies of the passport).

Good Luck!!

ELW, Thanks for the bump. I Rimash, I checked there last night before posting and the list just seemed a bit incomplete to me so I wanted to get the advice of someone who had been through the embassy. Thanks for your response! Hopefully this will be over soon.
