So a nut job who is unstable, talking about killing people, stalking/harass co-workers by text messages, should not be fired.

Oh well, lucky for the company for not firing him, otherwise he would have gun down his co-workers in the office instead of the gay bar.

i'm not saying that he shouldn't have been fired from his job, i'm saying an ex employee has one side of his story and then there's the employer's story and then there's whatever actually happened. i don't see where his employer should be held accountable, he wasn't on the clock. he might have been using work guns or something, but still, if he had no criminal past he would have access to guns regardless of his employment.

Might have been less casualties had it been the coworkers. After all, we are ok with casualties of war as long as it's not our burden to bear and we can still get any fire arms we want.

A tank and rocket launcher coming to a neighborhood near you.

Boston Marathon, San Bernardino and this Orlando attack.

Only the aftermath of these attacks that FBI revealed they had these persons of interest monitored before.

Wonder if the guy in Connecticut was on their watch list, the Colorado theater guy, Jonesboro, Dylan Roof, the soldiers who committed Wounded Knee with 300 dead?

Or is the only requirement to be brown to make those lists.......

If there are not guns, there are still knives, pressure cookers, cars, planes to maximize damages :hehe:

Well, I hope those gangbangers in Chicago are in the lists too.

42 people shot, 7 killed in this weekend violence.

Of course. Anything to keep your killing machine.

I love how Chicago is brought up to deflect the white male mental disorder when it comes to killing mass groups of pepole. You compare gang bangers killing each other to a man killing, gunning down 20 kids, 3rd graders? Boy Get Out of Here

Let's not forget the men who lose their jobs and kill their whole families. Worthless thugs

Hate to break it to you, all the folks holding on to their guns waiting for some black family to break in and kill them, it ain't going to happen. We are living our lives unconcerned about the gun clingers.

But hey, if holding on to your gun, you can't even get into even if someone breaks in cause it's in a safe is more important that securing a future for the children of America I feel pity for you.

Which means that we should continue letting folks who are well documented of having issues getting their hands on guns. Since you know pressure cookers the automatic go-to for mass killings. What's worse is the president just spoke about this 10 days ago:

http://www.vox.com/2016/6/13/11921578/obama-warned-orlando-nra-fbi-terrorists-guns

What I have said is precisely what you suggested, which is, why don’t we treat this like every other thing that we use? I just came from a meeting today in the Situation Room in which I got people who we know have been on ISIL Web sites, living here in the United States, U.S. citizens, and we’re allowed to put them on the no-fly list when it comes to airlines, but because of the National Rifle Association, I cannot prohibit those people from buying a gun.

This is somebody who is a known ISIL sympathizer. And if he wants to walk into a gun store or a gun show right now and buy as much — as many weapons and ammo as he can, nothing’s prohibiting him from doing that, even though the FBI knows who that person is.

And please stop bringing up Chicago. No one cares as long as the victims are poor and minority. The only time they come up is when folks want to use them to further the "don't unarm me bro" conversation.

"Oppressive language does more than represent violence; it is violence; does more than represent the limits of knowledge; it limits knowledge." -Toni Morrison

I also love how X, Y, Z religions commit mass killing topics being brought up when it comes to Islamic terror attack.

Hey, those gang bangers also target innocent kids. It all the same to me.

Senate Democrats are now using this line of argument to push legislation that would ban people on the FBI’s terrorist watch list from obtaining guns.

Oh, I have no problem with that.
Maybe everyone should take a mental evaluation before buying guns.

No, I love how when things like this do happen the islamaphobics use it as an excuse to discriminate against all Muslims but when I white man does something I NEVER hear we should ban all white men from getting guns, or entering the U.S.

Let's be clear the U.S. has treated gay and transgender people like scum. They have high homicide, high suicide and high drug addiction rates. They are killed, raped and atrocious violent acts are committed against these people, these American citizens. One Republican said transgenders should use the bushes. Now because it fits a discriminatory stance some want to use what happened at this gay club. Get Out of Here

Where are yall when they want bathroom rights? Where are yall when they want the right to marry? Where are yall when they want to be on each other's health insurance? When they want to adopt children? Give blood?

SIT DOWN!

I know you don't like it but I refuse to let agenda be pushed down my brain and I refuse to discriminate against anyone! Guess what? That includes looney white men. I won't do it

from all the information i've seen this was a one man deal, he was not tied to any larger plan or funding. further, the killer was an american. so the whole, ban muslims from entering and why won't obama say 'islamic terror' arguments are pointless to the conversation. unless this convo is leading to it's ultimate end point, where the fearful masses start in on banning islam, watching all american muslims for 'safety' and inacting some verification of all incoming potus' religious affiliation.

wasn't the killer off the list? so what good would this legislation do?

i think americans just need to get over the idea that we can be safe from random/mass gun violence while up to our foreheads in guns. it ain't gonna happen.

Not sure why you all are taking out on my posts...

I frankly don't care....

normally people who don't care about something don't engage in conversation. which is all i was doing, if you don't want responses - don't post.

whatever, i've been here long enough to know where this thread is headed.

I admit, the sit down was too much. None the less if you don't care why r u posting?

Do u really see nothing wrong with people attempting to get other people to discriminate against another demographic?

Wasn't discrimination the reason why the gay club was targeted in the first place?
