I got my Employment Authorization Card on 9/21/2016.....How Long do I have to wait to get green card,I came in on a K-1 visa and filed in Missouri

well after a long debate about the RFIE that i received on Aug.11th, we managed to find a Joint Sponsor, it took a while but finally send off the response today. hope everything goes well, especially since we just send the response today ( From day the notice was updated on my case Aug. 5th till today - Day 54 out of 87 ), wonder how long it will take now for them to review it and what will be next.

Good Luck! please let us know how it all went.

It went well. Most of the questions that the IO asked were from the I-485 and I-130. The last few questions were about how we met, blah blah blah. He didn't say we were approved but he said everything was okay and he took my I-94. My I-485 case status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" about 6 hours after the interview. I am excited!!!

my response to the RFIE was delivered on Sept. 28 at 9: 29 a.m.and signed for M. Sievers

i`ve been trying to update my signature with the timeline but it keeps telling me there is an error, i have asked a couple people for help, but no answers received yet. if anybody know how to fix this please let me know

That is great news! Congratulations!!! The journey is almost done. Did you need an interpreter? My spouse speaks about 75% English and I am worried if I need an interpreter. Did you show a photo album? Did the IO take anything from you other than your I-94?

That is great news! Congratulations!!! The journey is almost done. Did you need an interpreter? My spouse speaks about 75% English and I am worried if I need an interpreter. Did you show a photo album? Did the IO take anything from you other than your I-94?

Thanks!!! We are relieved. The IO specifically asked for our photo album, joint lease, joint bank account and utility bills. We showed him all those plus our joint vehicle insurances and mails addressed to each of us. He kept two photos from our album, all five months of our joint bank statements, vehicle insurances, and one month of each of our utility bills. I didn't realize he kept my I-94 until the interview over and I was in the elevator. He didn't keep my AOS-EAD card or any of my OPT-EAD cards.

My wife and I are 100% fluent in English. I think your spouse should be fine if he can understand and answer the questions on the AOS forms. If your case is complicated or you are separated at the interview, then you may need an interpreter.

Thanks!!! We are relieved. The IO specifically asked for our photo album, joint lease, joint bank account and utility bills. We showed him all those plus our joint vehicle insurances and mails addressed to each of us. He kept two photos from our album, all five months of our joint bank statements, vehicle insurances, and one month of each of our utility bills. I didn't realize he kept my I-94 until the interview over and I was in the elevator. He didn't keep my AOS-EAD card or any of my OPT-EAD cards.

My wife and I are 100% fluent in English. I think your spouse should be fine if he can understand and answer the questions on the AOS forms. If your case is complicated or you are separated at the interview, then you may need an interpreter.

Question about the I94. How can they keep it if it's electronically? Or is that not the case for everyone?

My I-94 was still the small paper when I came to US. I never left so I still had that same paper I-94 from my initial point of entry.
