Thank you again for answering. We are getting all our paper work together. About the police report. I never did send one in with the forms I filled out. My wife has never been arrested. Do I need to bring a letter from the court indicting she has no record? Did the IO ask you for this? Did you bring one with you?

I didn't send a police report with my AOS package. I think that's for people adjusting from k-1.

I received my green card in the mail today...approximately or maybe exactly 4 months from date of filing. What a glorious day. I'm grateful for a relatively straightforward and RFE-free journey. I hope everyone else's AOS is going well.

Wow that is such great news! Reading your post today gave me goose bumps. Congratulations again. It was the 2-year conditional card correct? Also did it come regular mail?

Thanks. Yeah, 2 year conditional. It came in a white envelope different from the ones the notices come in. It was marked "express mail"or something. You wouldn't think there was a green card in it.

Hey guys, i need help.i''m on a K1 visa... Im going to submit my AOS soon but i didn't get the vaccines in my country ( dominican republic ) ... i wanna get them here but I'm not sure what's the process.. do i have to do the i-693 form again, or do they already have it. My medical is not expired yet . I live in new york... HeLP

Had our AOS interview yesterday 10/18/2016. Wife wore a nice black dress and I wore nice dress pants with button down shirt. I heard it was a good idea to dress well. Got there thirty minutes before our appointment. Went through security and were told to go to window eight. After that we were told to wait in this back room they had for people waiting for interviews. While waiting we holded hands because we also heard that sometimes the waiting rooms have cameras. After about twenty minutes the IO called my wife by her name. We went in to a closed office The IO introduced himself. He had us give our oath to tell the truth. We say down and the next thing he said is that he was going to approve us. He wanted to say that right away because he knows couple get nervous during the interview. We were so happy to hear this and very surprised. We had a shopping bag full of evidence, four photo albums originals and copies of everything that was asked for in the apointment letter. He never looked at any of it. He asked what was my address and when we were married. He asked my wife the questions on the I-485 form. Asked for our ID and gave us the form to do the ROC of two year green card. He was so nice and kind with us. He said he could tell from the package we mailed him our relationship was real. I would say the interview was about ten minutes.

I want to thank everyone on this website who helped us along the way. The reason our package was so well done was because of all of you helping us through this process. Website still does not show an update for us. The IO said we should get the green card in two to four weeks. I saw on this website many people get the card in about ten days. I hope we are that lucky as well.

finally got the hard copy`s for my ead/ ap in the mail today and also i received a letter it says " notice to Applicant ".. , The form I-693 has not been submitted, submit it on a later date as at the interview or if the interview is waived you will receive a RFE for the form....

i hope i will get my ead before or if i get another RFE, i am so behind because it took me 55 days to respond to my RFIE ( Joint Sponsor )

it does make me feel better that i finally got the approvals for my ead/ap tho.... whootwhot...lol
