Thank you all for your support, help and pray! We got the P I N K . She will go and pick up her VISA on the next day. The interview went really smooth. It took less than 5 minutes. Her appointment is at 10 AM. She got there before 7 AM. There were a few people ahead of her. She had to wait a bit before they gave out the Ticket Number. She got the number 11.

There are 2 parts process. First part they check all the requirement paperworks. PLEASE organize all your submitted paperwork as they listed in the Instruction Package 4. If you do this they will have better impression on your case and easier. During this process they asked her a whole bunch of questions. It was a really nice Vietnamese lady who looked through all our paperworks. It is really important to see what kind of Paper that they will write as they look through all your documents. It was a Pink paper when she wrote it down, and it is the same paper that will be use in the 2nd interview process. IF it is Pink, which means you get 50% of the Pink in the 1st round.

They asked her:

How do you meet?

Do you have the same Last Name?

How do you communicate?

and so on with other question to make sure you are not faking.

On the 2nd round:

It was the same Vietnamese lady and one American Old Man (CO) interview my girl.

I think at this point there will be 2 scenario will affect the questionare they will ask:

1. Vietnamese/American with Vietnamese

2. American and Vietnamese

Our case is Vietnamese/American with a Vietnamese. Plus, we are both Single and never get marry before. The CO talked with really low voice to the Vietnamese Translator and She spoke to my girl in Vietnamese. So the whole process, my girl only speak to her in Vietnamese not even a word of English.

They asked:

1. What does he like to do in his spare time?

2. How many times he visits Vietnam? - 3 times

3. How do you two communicate? - Email, Chatting, Phone

4. Present the Evidence. Email, Phone Bills, and Pictures.

For us,

My girls separated all the Evidence by each trip i visited, such Pictures, Fly Tickets, and Hotel bills on each folder for each time.

She handed it to them one by one. They only look up to the 2nd folders then they said stop, and gave her the Pink.

Honestly they did not look really hard at the evidence at all.

For the 2nd Scenario:

American with a Vietnamese. It is better for the Vietnamese girl speak English. They want to make sure you are not doing a fake K1. Also, who ever got Divorce before, make sure talk to you girl about it, cuz they will ask her a little bit about your past.

Huan,

Do not worry about getting the lastest Bank Statement, and the I-134 form ok. The one i did was dated back in November 2006. It was OK on our interview.

Hien,

Thank you for all your help!
