Moving again after 1 week in the USA

Ok its not sure yet, but my fiance was in the process of selling his house and we might have to move out of it the week-end after i move there... Its all cool by me cause its gonna be "our" home and not a house he shared with his ex.

But here's my question:

All the papers are gonne be in his house's address. Do I have to make the change with USCIS only ? Cause i guess the embassy has nothing to do with it right ? And what about the SSN, are they gonna have to match the address with the information I received at the POE ?

If u know the new addy at time of Interview, you can pass that on as well, but U most likely still have to do the two forms that Reba Listed.

Just a little question about the AR-11

it says " If not a Permanent Resident, my stay in the U.S. expires on (Date-mm/dd/yyyy)"

Do I write there the date when my K-1 expires after entry (90 days) or not since im gonna be married and the date is only if you dont get married??

Mephys, just my bit of advice...

Try not to file any AOS papers until you have a new address in hand, or an address that won't change anytime soon. Though an address change is possible, this has been recommended time and again.

dont worry thats gonna be the final address....just happens that he was supposed to move a long time ago but s...happened with the house and of course now he has to move out of it the week I move.....

I already have my new address in hand has of today and there is not gonna be any changes until everything is done with USCIS. Thanks for the advice!

I like you moved about 2 weeks after arrival.

Just send in the form to them, and I just put that I was on a K-1 which experies (I-94) on blah blah blah and that was that.

Then when you file AOS you put your new address and all is good

is the alien number the same number that is written on the NOA2 under alien registration number ?

I didnt receive the Visa yet my interview is in 2 weeks but are they gonna give back another number with it ?

The rule is to notify uscis within 2 weeks after your move. But when it comes to immigration paperwork no need to take chances of your mail getting lost, move 1st then notify file your aol with your new address and notify

them of your new address

Nobody answered me about the Alien number...

Is it the same that is on the NOA2 from I-129f petition or does that number change when you get the visa ?
