Interview date was Jan 2, 2017 case show AP until now , 5 updates Jan 3,4 ,8,9 and last update was Jan 16 with no single ready it's all AP .  Counslor officer required joint sponsor to mail through aramex after the interview .note *( my lawyer sent joint sponsor to the NVC and she makes above the poverty line but what happened in the interview the lady handed all papers My lawyer sent to NVC back to me because I hadn't the AOS papers complete I just had page number 9 which show the inc sign of the sponsor so she kept the one page with tax income and asked me to bring the rest of the form which the NVC already sent them !!and my passport in the same package . I sent all the papers they required which it was exactly the same as the NVCsent them !!! plus my passport with my A2 visa in the mail but it didn't show ready it's still on AP . Any help on what to do and how to email the embassy inquiring if they agree on the AOS I sent or not would be appreciated . I'm a former Egyptian army captain so the councilor asked one question about how I meet my wife and the rest of the questions was about my army service. Note* ( I been in the states for SF course on A2 visa in 2013/2014 that's how I meet my wife .. hopefully I have any answers here from the guys who been through this before any recommendations or advices will be useful .

Hello all,

I have read through the messages here and felt very motivated. Thanks for a wonderful job.

I had my interview yesterday  and I am now on AP. The CO is requesting for recent additional relationship proof (chats, money receipts, video calls, and phone log).

This is my story:

My fiance and I have been together for 9 years and have a 7 years old son. He traveled to the US with his wife in 2009 ( I was 8 months pregnant), they were divorced on Dec 2013. He has not visit since he traveled. He wanted to visit in 2014 but there was an Ebola outbreak in my country and the US issue a travel advisory.

He filed for k1/k2 on Jan 2015, the case was denied because of the two year meet requirement. He later sent an appeal and state reasons based on hardship waiver. Based on the appeal, our case was approved by USCIS on Oct 2016.

At my interview yesterday the CO said she was not convinced because we have been in a long distance relationship for 7 years. She took all my documents but gave me my son and i passport and 221g form requesting for additional proof.

PLEASE WHAT NEXT STEP SHOULD I TAKE AND DO I HAVE ANY HOPE?

IF MY FIANCE VISIT NOW WILL IT HELP OUR CASE?( the CO request for chats, receipts, video calls and phone log)

Thanks for reading and I am looking forward for your advice.

RELATIONSHIP PROOF I TOOK TO THE INTERVIEW:

*Our son(my fiance and I)

*Emails(2010-2015)

*Call records(2016-2017)

*Video Calls(2016-2017)

*money receipts(2010-2017)

*Chats (2016-(2017)

*Pictures(one pic of my fiance and i before he travelled, 10 pictures of me with his family on our son naming ceremony and birthdays)

  • 1 month later...

Good Morning,

Sister Sata,

You are right that everyone in this forum came out of boring AP and now got visa. But don't loose hope, Its something that some go ahead and some after. Its how life is, but remember the days and nights are so short and you will never know- how this years passes. Its true being patience for something is really hard. But keep praying and hope for better. What Allah has given or going to give us, May be its in our goodness. May Allah bless and solve our problems.

Patience make a person stronger. We hope you get it very soon. This 3 month ban will not remain and again will be lifted.
