The interview was today 01Dec16

well, to be under AP from 2-4 weeks after the interview is a normal process. if it took longer then you should start to get worried and contact the embassy!

I got issued last Tuesday, 29th November. Till now, I have not received my passport back. Any idea on how long it takes to get the passport back in Cairo after getting issued ? average numbers ?

yaaaaaaaaaaaay congrats bro. well in my case it took them about 5 days include the weekend, however they always say u must wait till 10 business days then u can start to contact them. I bet ur gonna get this week probably at the end of this week.

Case was updated again today. 08Dec16, and it still says ready. ThIs is the third time it is being updated.

Did you get your Visa yet? I have a friend who has been waiting for two weeks now for his. Our interview is next Wednesday, hoping to have Abdo's visa in hand by January 15th.

Oct 13- ID

Oct 18- CEAC and AUH website

Nov 4- CEAC

Dec 21- CEAC mailed or available

There's the 'mailed or' change on the 21st so I'm quite hopeful but nothing in AUH website. I've sent them an email on the 30th and 60th day after interview but they didn't reply and that didn't trigger any date change.

I remember you mentioned that you haven't received any reply as well.

Have you tried calling NVC after the interview? I read some of the earlier post by bookman and she mentioned about the 'mailed or' change but didn't receive any mail from the embassy but heard something new when she called NVC.

No I did not call NVC, its been near 8 month for me on AP without any single update,I send the Embassy one Email on october and they did not respond to it.... I just hope something happen in January...
