We got hold of them finally. The representative (male) said that I dropped my passport the 20of July at the consulate request and my case still requires AP, he said consulate will contact once they have new information.

I want to point out that I dropped my passport the 20th of July after I came back from a business trip to Italy. It wasn't exactly a request from the consulate, but when I picked up the passport when I was traveling, the CO said I need to drop it back once I come back to the country.

PS: NVC inquiry did not trigger a date change.

I did many times before but there is no update in your case and please contact your embassy for any inquiry because we moved it there.

Nothing brother. We should have a date change this week, otherwise it's insane. You and I passed 6 months, and it's crazy how we don't have any frequent date changes, even the medical was not requested. We should at least have the "ready" appearing and disappearing once.

I will call NVC tomorrow again and inquire. I'm frustrated.

So new update on my case .....I had 3 updates on ceac website, sept 15, 18 and 23... on the 23rd which was Friday they called my husband for a new medical, so he's getting his medical today... Hopefully is a good sign, he'll be getting visa soon ! Fingers crossed !!!

Update guys!! Hubby dropped off passport, new medical n new police clearance today. Was told to pick up passport October 4th on his birthday. O what a happy day!
