Hi again brothers and sisters, today is Tuesday August the 30th, time is 2:30 AM GMT. I checked CEAS and found that the date was changed to 29th August. I got a date change just few hours ago.

My AP is 5 months and 2 weeks, in total I had 2 date changes only, now this is the 3rd date change. ( 2nd June / 20th July / 29th August ).

@Hallalbrother, any update akhi.

Good luck everybody!

yakhoo( my bro), I'm really happy to hear about your updates and it's almost over bro and as I always said I only believe when the visa in hand not depends on updates but it seems like it's almost over, wish to hear from you a good news about your case soon In sha Allah (God Willing)

This Ap is so in my mind right now.... I think we should wait till October that the Lottery cases and the visa processing to them gets over...

They just call it processing, I call it investigations..

Most clues are given during the interview, if the CO does not believe the story, they usually issue the return paper or they verbally say that he or she needs more information.

If nothing of the above was mentioned, and the CO verbally asked for additional documents or verbally stated that you will be under AP, then it's nothing to worry about.

They have a system which flags people based on name and background. Also they flag you if you traveled a lot or traveled to middle east, also if you lived abroad apart from your own country. Include if you are part of STEM, or worked in STEM position.

There are bunsh of clearances that should be obtained before the CO issues the visa, including the CCDB, FBI, Interpol, government, police, court, NSA, UCII, TCDB, etc those are just a few.

All of those clearances should come Green or negative, that's when the CO issues the visa, if one of them comes Red or positive, then they usually redo the clearance for verification or the CO just saves him/her self the hustle and sends the case to UCIS..

I'm not being negative just realistic. The U.S is under lot of pressure and they have to insure every person that steps foot in their land.

It's just about patience brother and sisters, let's keep our hopes up, stick together and we will make it Inshlaah.

PS: no update from my side, last date change 30th August. Yesterday they responded to an email we sent 2 weeks ago, basically they said my case still requires AP and they will contact me once the processing is over. It was a nice written email, but they did not answer lot of questions, give me an impression it was a copy past sort of email.

I don't want to make you feel disappointed but this is doesn't matter for them because they will take them time.

Today, 5th september I got a status update, same admin processing though.

I had sent an email 2 days ago to the consulate asking for updates. They replied to my e-mail this morning early and like 2 hours later, I saw an update. I don't think the status update was triggered by my email asking though, as I sent many emails previously asking and I got back responses without any status updates, so Im hoping someone touched my case in a useful fashion.

Response was same, mandatory admin processing.
