Administrative processing after interview US embassy in Cairo

Can I ask you a question if you don't mind?

NVC always they never give us information because they always saying contact the embassy they able to tell you from them system and the embassy never tell us anything it's like wasting time,so will you please tell me how you got some information from NVC because I see they give you specific info and other people too I see they have some info like it's name check done stuff like that,I called,NVC myself many times and never get information,Can you tell me about it please.

yes. I called NVC this morning becuz I was worried all night. Asked rep for an update on my case. She said, " ur case was last updated July 1st n embassy requested passport". I told her thank u. Right away I called hubby's but me said he did not received a call. But I will email embassy today..

yes Ahmed. Whenever I called NVC I always asked for updates on my case. I did that this morning as well n the rep. Told me that embassy requested passport July 1st she told me to contact embassy. But hubby's said he did not received any call from embassy..

And a question... Today is July 12... when did the Embassy wants to inform you then if you did not call NVC?

i know right.. I will email the embassy today. But I do not know what question to ask.. Guys I need ur input..

yes 4months. March 3rd 2016 hubby's had interview result AP. Second update March 4th, third update June 28th From DOS, fourth update July 1st from embassy n fifth update from embassy July 8th..

Ahmed I called NVC one time and they said right away that they don't know anything and I have to talk to the embassy. They didn't give me a chance to even ask anything.

Maybe I'll try again. The embassy certainly doesn't say a word other than mandatory administrative processing.

I know a lot of the security checks are done in Washington DC my the federal government. You can read about it in a million different places. It would be nice if they would tell you something about what's happening with your case.

I'm being patient as I can. But plenty of other people get their visas in 3 days time with no AP. Still others have AP but they get through faster.

God willing we can all get through this!
