Yes it is me from that Group on FB.

I was able to make an Appointment on that site for March 27th. We will still go to this appointment and hopefully we can discuss our case. At least it shows them I am here in Egypt, my 4th time now with my husband and fighting for our case to remain in Egypt.

Should we take some more evidence with us? Any suggestions? This trip I am here for 1.5 months. We spent 1 week in Alexandria going to several touristy spots. Took lots of photos. We rented my husbands friends apartment. We can get  statement from him and also a statement from his boss to take leave for this week from the office.

I sent an email yesterday but they have not responded and no case status update as well.

We are determined!! Insha'Allah we will be approved in the end.

They're closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

In terms of evidence, take photos, recommendation letters from family and friends, call logs between you too, chat logs, etc.

Your presence itself is the biggest evidence. But you can also give your boarding passes and a copy of the entry stamps (I don't think you really need though for this type of case).

Be fully prepared, regardless.

Yes, I forgot...I'm mixed up on my days.

I already gave all those evidence and more. This is my 4th trip to visit my husband. Last time I lived here for 6 months in the family home. okay...

So take all submitted evidence and all NEW evidence with me to the Embassy? Okay, that's a lot of paper to print.......is there  place to go in Cairo where I can make copies, use my PC and print documents?

Thank you

You don't need all of it. Just pick like 20~30 of each or something. Only new evidence.

A place to print, there's like a dozen on every corner. I think your husband can find one easily.

Welcome back @Halalbrother bro, it's good to see you again.

I hope you are well, always ya rab.

The truth is there's a rule and an exception. What I was talking about was the rule, and what you mentioned is the exception. Every case is different, there are so many factors that come into play with the initial decision (given during the first interview or after 120 days).

Today, and this maybe news for most of you guys, there are deliberate delays for almost all cases, and most cases are finished within 1 and a half to 2 years time.

The reported delays are not just limited to Cairo's embassy anymore, but also involve almost ALL U.S embassies around the world. I have this from a reliable source. A lot of people are already complaining about this.

After trump, expect anything and everything. They're using U.S immigration law that allows AP as a cover for this delay, this I'm 100% sure of.

I'm also sure that everything is destined to be, and it's all for own good in shaa Allah.

About AP, I've been in AP for at least 1 year and 2 months.

Feeling your pain ... 21 months sitting in AP😞

We have been Denied

We were in AP for just over 6 months. I called the Senator's office for help in status. Just found out from my Senator that our case was denied. I am here in Egypt now with my husband and sent an email to the Embassy in which they replied:

Dear *******

Thank you for your email.  We regret any confusion regarding Mr. ***** immigrant visa application (CRO********).  Our records indicate that Mr. -****** immigrant visa case is being sent to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) with the recommendation that the petition should be revoked because Mr. Ismail was unable to demonstrate that there is a qualifying relationship for this visa category.

If you have any questions or would like additional information you may contact USCIS at www.uscis.gov.

Best regards,

Immigrant Visa Unit

U.S. Embassy Cairo

I'm really sorry to hear about that, and once it's here in US you will need to revoke it and it takes as I remember from 90 up to 180 days so they will ask you to file all the documentations that is showing the relationship it true and right, and then after they accept it it takes from 6 weeks up to 90 days then they will send it back to US Embassy in Cairo and set another interview.

I'm really really sorry to hear that, but I wish for you guys a smooth process revoking this Visa.
