I don’t feel like that but I am quite positive that my SO does! I have been talking basically non stop about this visa stuff since we started planning it last May (only sent in our I-129F in October). Now and then he makes it clear to me that he just wants to talk about NORMAL stuff with no visa involved. And sometimes he hasn’t taken my calls either due to this. Sorry to my guy!

yeah i hear that too...he is like..can we talk about something else

today is his medical and i called him twice to make sure he has everything in his bag that he is gonna need and make sure he made copies of stuff

Hehe... *I* was the one who talked about VISA visa VISSAA visa VISA all the time to my fiance and of course, he got to the point when enough is enough! Haha....He got really pissed off one time and said " Honey, really, can't you just NOT talk about the f**** visa process for ONE day?!" haha..... Well... at that time it wasn't really funny cuz I was afraid he would get fed up and decided to stop the whole process... But I realized that he just wanted to take a break and just talk about anything else.

Yes, he also ignored my phone calls several times because he was so sure that I would bring the same problem (Visa) up again and again. Haha.. he knows me too well :P

Anyways, what you feel is normal. Ask your love one to talk about other things for a while, I'm sure he will understand :)

In our case, it's my fiance (the USC) who's, I'm sure getting tired of me talking about Visa. He's not very fond of immigration and paperwork that's why when we decided to start filing, he suggested that we hire an immigrant lawyer, which I refused. In short, I was the one who did most of the paperwork. Ever since we started the whole visa process, I never missed discussing it with him either by phone or email. I can tell when he's bored once all his response is "ahuh" or "ok" or "yeah, yeah".

I think everyone needs a break after this tiring and arduous journey. Whenever I feel like I'm getting my fiance bored about the whole thing, I give him some time off (for at least a day or two :P ) and then slowly bringing up the subject again.:whistle::whistle:

Let us all remember that after all these hardships and frustrations about getting the visa, being with our sweetheart is worth everything.

Give me a break...do you have any idea of what the non USC has to go through ??

You are almost at the end of at least the first stage....I find your attitude totally selfish and to not take the call is disgusting.

If you are tired of the process...go out...do something else.

I am a regular poster here but I am so paranoid about the CO's reading these boards that I could not post under my usual ID. Don't get me wrong, I love my SO very much and miss him so much but I knew yesterday that he was going to get more papers and pick up his medical results for his interview and I didn't even take his call today because I did not want to even talk about a visa today. I feel so badly because we have our NOA2, our file is at the embassy and I know that we are right there, we are close to being reunited and yet, I am tired.

Anyone else ever feel like this? I really don't know what is wrong with me and I feel so guilty because I remember how much I once missed him right after I filed,I remember the tears when I got the NOA2 ;however, I just need a break from all visa talk.

We all get frustrated with the whole process. My fiancee and I have already been through a year of work visa ####### (with no luck) and now we have to start this and it gets to us sometimes. We get exceedingly more frustrated when we see people that have filed after us and get approved before us. Nothing against them, we're happy for them, just extra sad for us. All we want is to be with the one we love and don't understand all the BS we have to go through just to be together. We have learned though that honesty and openness is the best policy. If you are frustrated say so. Tell you SO exactly how you feel. When you try to hold it inside it just festers and makes it worse. Good luck.

I suffered through almost 2 years of endless visa obsessing every time we talked while we were apart. I did go through a phase where I thought I would break every time I heard the "v" word, but eventually I resigned myself that "it" too was part of the yucky process and I'd just have to gut through it. And I did. Now we almost never speak of it. AOS is grinding its way through the system and we never speak of it unless its utterly necessary. Don't worry, it may seem like the weight of the world is on you now, but it will eventually change and you'll be soaring. Hang in there and know you're not alone.

I FELT LIKE THAT TOO, YOUR NOT ALONE, THE ANXIETY AND FRUSTRATIONS OF WAITING, GETTING THE PAPER WORK DONE ETC IS REALLY TIRESOME. BUT THEN MY FIANCE KEEPS TELLING ME TO BE PATIENT AND TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY, AND EACH PASSING DAY WILL BRING US TOGETHER SOON. HANG IN THERE, AND KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED :)

MMMMMMMmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMm. Not taking phone calls from the person you "love" so much? I would say to be careful to not let the visa process ruin your relationship. A lot of more difficult times and test's of your love for each other is comming after the visa is approved.

You could always talk about sex!!

I know for me, I had no idea how frustrating and how much work this whole visa thing would be before I started. I think most of us start out with high expectations and full of emotions. Reality sets in shortly after the process begins. Keep the emotions and let go of the frustrations. I miss my fiance very much, she misses me very much. We both want this over and done with as much as anyone else. I live for our daily phone calls and IM video chats. I encourage her every day and tell her how proud I am of her for the efoort she has put into this. Getting good documents from her city in Colombia is almost impossible. She has held up well and has a positive attitude. I tend to be the worry wart. We balance each other out, jsut like a perfect couple. LOL.

Not taking a phone call does *not* mean you have fallen out of love with someone. Good Lord. Everyone reacts to stress differently. My only advice is to keep looking out for yourself and as you have, express the way you feel to your SO. Before my husband got to the US we had some major fights over the phone about immigration. It's freaking stressful! And anyone who claims they have never or thinks they will never have an argument with their SO over something that stresses either of them out is a liar or extremely naive. You'll be fine. It's fine to vent...wherever you want to! That's one nice thing about the US, right? Free speech. Ha. ;)

 I know how you feel very well, I hope i am near the end, We are wating for pac 3 for the Embassy from colombia, its been over two weeks and no mail, So I have to get her there to pick up the paper work and you can only call the embassy on mon and wed between 2-4. I was told you could pick up the paper work at thr at 12:30, so i wanted to call on mon to make sure and its a holiday down there so they were closed. So now i got to wate intill web at 2 pm to talk to someone to make sure this is right and then get airline tickets for the next day to see if we can get the paper work, I am at the end of my rope. it seems everything is so hard for two people that want to be togather, Its is simple in my eyes, Why does it have to be so hard, I find my self also very tired of the whole process and keep telling myself i am one day closer intill we are togather, Hang in there, You are not the only one that is upset with the process, Kyle
