Hey everyone,

My wife and I are applying for the cr1 and k3 visa.

Our k1 visa has reach guangzhou and we'd like to combine our k3 and cr1 applications into one.

But before we combine them into one, we were wondering if we turn in packet 3, will that speed up the cr1 process? Or, is there any other k3 paper work that we can fill out to make the cr1 process faster?

Thanks in advance.

You may want to fill in your profile with more details N/A for Country and Visa don't help sometimes with answering, as well as a blank timeline:

If your K-3 arrived at the consulate, and then the CR-1 petition arrives a few days later they usually get combined and they will just interview for the CR-1.

puzzlefighter,

Your post does not make sense. Aside from the mention of a K1 visa reaching Guangzhou, when it's the consulate in Guangzhou that issues visas not receive them, and K1 not being relevant to you, there is no "combining" of K3 and immigrant visa applications into a single application. Two separate visas, two separate visa applications, two different visa application processes.
