My US senator successfully petitioned the NVC (on my behalf) for an expedited processing of my visas. His request was sent the day my case files arrived at the NVC. We have been approved, but the case files have not been assigned case numbers, but from what I understand, the files are being sent directly to the embassy at this point with no further NVC processing.

What is the process from hereon in for something like this where no NVC processing has been done, but the files are being transferred to the embassy?

Thanks,

Michael

You need to submit an expedite with NVC now or it will take the normal course from NVC to the emassy in Santo Domingo.

Congratulations :D

Thanks, but the expedite was submitted on my behalf to the NVC by the US senator's office. I'm trying to find out what happens from this point on as the expedite has been approved there before any processing started.
