Hey everyone! Happy to report our petition is darn near done! However, most of our correspondence is over facebook and skype. We chat and call every day, and I'd like to sample some conversations about our relationship in the petition. Has anyone ever used screencaps of Facebook and Skype before in their petitions and know if they accept the date/time stamps as valid? I can also show Facebook posts with date/time stamps that align with our plane tickets too. Would this help, or should I leave it out?

The skype chats are a little more difficult as the only time/date stamps I have of them are on my phone. Anyone know if the phone date/time header is considered valid proof too when used as screencaps?

Thanks in advance! So close! Just getting some affidavits signed by friends/family (I use an alias and in all their wisdom, the government doesn't put any room for you to list nicknames on any documents, even though I use my alias for nearly all my purchases!) and my passport photos done and we should be all set to send it off this weekend!

( I'm also using travel itineraries from our three visits together, several reciepts/tickets to fun stuff while we were hanging out, the ring reciept, a photo of the wedding dress, samples of the wedding invites we had designed, a screencap sampling of different emails and their date/time stamps, and reciepts from all the times I sent her flowers over the years. Hopefully it's enough, together with the conversations! ;w; )

We used iMessage and FaceTime and I just took screen shots of the chats from iMessage with the date stamps as well. And the FaceTime I also just printet out. I really don't think it was needed for us since we had a ton of evidence but I included it anyway and it was fine :)

I also used facebook messenger and screenshots of iMessage chats as evidence since that was the only way we could communicate. I think the timestamps are great and demonstrates to the several people that will look at your stuff how much you talked and the quality of such conversations. I also did screenshots of all our facetime call log to show our continual and daily communication.

Since I had over 10,000 pages of correspondence in facebook messages alone I picked chats spanning a few days every 4 months or so. I was careful to highlight when we talked about marriage, wedding plans, our future etc.

Looks like you have it all ready pretty much! Good luck!
