hello friends,

im filing my adjustment of status paperwork and i didnt bring my vaccination record from my country.would you please tell me if you know about any other options to get that document here.if i have to get it from my county,it is gonna take me forever....thank you very much guys....

im waiting for ur answers

You will probably have to get the basic vaccinations anyway. There are certain vaccinations that you have to get in order to apply for AOS, your best bet would be to go to a civil surgeon and have them done there, that way he can fill out form 693A for you at the same time....., my husband had all of his vaccinations over seas, but still had to have the civil surgeon transfer them to the correct form for AOS, hope this helps

7/14/06- rec'd @ NVC

8/14/06- NVC sent petition to Consulate

8/17/06 - Korean Consulate rec'd Petition

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/25/06 - sent packet 3 back to Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

9/25/06 - Interview date - APPROVED

9/28/06 - Visa in Zaeems Hand - YEAHHHHH

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

AOS

3/13/07 - AOS package rec'd at Chicago Lockbox

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

5-20-08 - AOS INTERVIEW - APPROVED - PASSPORT STAMPED

7-2-10 - Received 10 year green card in mail

When we were waiting researcing the Civil Surgons I asked them how they could see which vaccinations Atif would need and they told me it was as simple as drawing a tube of blood and doing the tests for the various vaccines. That is 1 way.

Another would be to contact the Dr in Morocco and see if they would be willing to fax the vacination record to you. Atif went to the female Moroccan doctor and her office gave it to my mother-in-law [of course it cost my MIL :angry: ...when it shouldn't have] and my MIL faxed it over to us that same day.

Those are 2 options.

P.S. IF YOU RECEIVE A CANCELLATION NOTICE FOR THE AOS INTERVIEW.....GO TO THE APPOINTMENT ANYWAY.....IT JUST MIGHT NOT BE CANCELLED----WE LEARNED THE HARD WAY.

26 Dec 2006 received aapt.->01 Feb 2007 AOS interview->CANCELLED! rescheduled 01 Aug 2007-waiting

09 Feb '07-received denial of AOS--#######??!! MTR filed--Interview-01 Aug 07

27 Sept '07-I-765 [#2] filed--14 Nov '07 Biomerics for I-765 [#2]

Take it from me....GO TO THE AOS INTERVIEW DATE ANYWAY!!!!! EVEN IF YOU GET THE SNAIL MAIL NOTICE!!!

August 2009--Permanent Resident Card arrives!!!!

We are Finished with Immigration for 10 years!!!!
