Really? Never heard about that dhl or express courrier tracking ? Do u have the link to the pdf ?

I can't find the link, but I can attach it here for you. Just scroll down, the person really did a great job explaining. A small piece of advice, start the tracking fom already two days prior to today, I did mine from Sep 13, even though the update to the CEAC status showed from Sep 15.

Isn't the DS-160 something you fill out online?

Every Embassy works different, for example, mine sends you a letter that is the packet 3. Once you respond to it, they send you your interview date and you pay for the visa in the Embassy itself. Some of the other ones, you fill out your DS-160 online, pay for the visa fee and then you can see the first available interview date for your visa type. Have you checked how it works in your country?

Thats the thing ... I have not much clues, there isnt many people going thru fiance visa in switzerland ... So there are police report, birth certificate and things like this but nothing about offical forms itself ... I guess i'll just have to wait for the actual packet and... Be patient ahahaha ?

Here's the check list from the Irish embassy if thats any help to you. You must have the medical results in your hand before you can book your interview. So If any Irish people are reading this book your medical quickly because there is about a 3 week wait and you have another 4 week wait for interview afterwards. This way of doing things is crazy.

Checklist.

To prevent unnecessary delays during your interview, please arrange your documents in the following order:

  • Valid Passport

  • Sealed Medical exam.

  • 2 color passport-size pictures (5 cm X 5 cm or 2 inch X 2 inch).

  • Confirmation page of the electronic form DS-160.

  • Birth Certificate, English translation and a photocopy.

  • Marriage Certificate, English translation and a photocopy.

  • Divorce Certificate (If applicable), English translation and a photocopy.

  • Police Certificates from Ireland and other countries of previous residence for more than 6 months.

  • Court / Criminal (If applicable) records and photocopy.

  • Military records (If applicable) and photocopy.

  • Evidence of Support (I-134) and photocopy of IRS transcript or photocopy of the most recent Federal income tax return.

Thanks for this. I'm going to book my medical first thing tomorrow. Still waiting on our approval, they received our RFE 11 days ago now and still haven't updated our case. I don't understand the delay when they've just acknowledged they got our letter, it's starting to bug both of us now.

I spent 8 days over in Chicago though, just got back two days ago, so that was nice at least.
