Well maybe we will be in the "Ready" status by tomorrow, judging from the average travel time from "At NVC" to "Ready." Thanks for your response, Dorothy.

Our packet got in the NVC on sept 2nd.

And the status is still at NVC :(

An operator said that the packet should've already left to the embassy and she said she was going to create a report.

Anybody else on the same boat?

It's been like 12 days

Hey everyone, we just got approved today after RFE, I am so excited!! Look at you guys talking about NVC new number and next step everyday , seems we June filers are moving fast now. Congrats to everyone and wish those who are still waiting good luck.

Can anybody please tell me what should I do after NOA2? Waiting for the new case number? I saw some of you guys are already work on the medical and schedule the interview. Pay visa fee...things like these. So these are all after the new case number right? I am confused.

Thanks in advance for anyone's respond.

  • Get the case number after 1-2 weeks.
  • You can check the status of your file with new case number. https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx (it will be firstly at nvc, in transit (to your embassy), ready(after it arrives to embassy), AP, issued (after approved) )
  • They will send it to your embassy.
  • Your embassy will send packet 3 to you. (it will tell you what do you need for interview. police records, birth certification etc. it can be e-mail or normal mail. you might be able to schedule your interview without waiting your file to go embassy. it all depends to your embassy so you need to check china usa embassy for all those informations.)
  • You will send your packet 4 to embassy (note: i wont send my packet 4 because they (turkey embassy) dont want it. i need to bring packet 4 with me to embassy at interview date. check your embassy again.)
  • You will schedule your interview.
  • Go to your interview. :P

Hi everyone. My noa 2 was the 1st of September and I am yet to receive a hard copy and I never got an email or a notification that I was approved. How long did it take you all to receive your hard copy and did you get a notification? Should I be worried?

Thanks all

We never received email or notification either. We only noticed on uscis website. We were on vacation the day it got approved so not sure when the hard copy in the mail was actually delivered but i can tell u that on sept 11, date we returned home the hard copy was there, so potentially 10days to receive it

Our case left NVC  It is showing as In Transit. I think it left with yesterday's mail, just like the guy told us.

kara and mati, Jj and Jj - you should check yours too!
