How long are your guys waiting to call the NVC for your number? I'm hearing 2-4 weeks, but I am seeing some cases get their numbers earlier. Thanks

I-129F sent- June 15

Lockbox received- June 16

Noa1- June 20

RFE- August 23

NOA2- September 1

NVC received- September 13

Case #- September 13

interview- October 31

POE- November 13

Married- November 23

I waited 5 days, then called daily at 8 days it was at NVC, on day 9 I got my embassy number, I have already printed off everything I need to schedule medical and interview monday

Thank you, I will wait a little bit longer because of the holiday. We don't need the number to schedule our interview because they set the date for us, but would like to track it to see when it gets to the embassy. Good luck to you guys.

I am so silly! I typed ANK3016 not ANK2016. Now i can check from status. In transit :)

Now i can schedule my interview. But they closed it, it will open soon.

Do you have to wait till your file goes to embassy?

I can schedule right away with nvc number. Mine is in transit also.

oh nice! Ours from CSC website. But probably i will wait 2-3 months for interview. I want to ask a question. My fiance and his family are gonna move to another house. If i pay the fee and schedule an interview, can i change ds-160 file number later. I can fill new ds-160 with his new address but can i change the number section after i pay the fee.

And how about the k-1 file with old address, they approved i guess i can not make any other changes on that one.

I think you can just change the address. Online, when he interviews I think he can just tell where to send his visa

i am beneficiary, he is usc.

he will move to another house, which ds-160 asks where am i gonna stay when i am in US. So it will change and if i can not change the ds-160 will it be problem? or how can i fix it after i schedule the interview?

So, while we wait for our NOA2 we're prefiling the I-134 and we stumbled upon this:
"I have on deposit in savings banks in the United States" So what do we specify? Just the savings accounts or do we sum everything (checking account, 401k, etc)?
