Did you get you case#? We got approved same day, I called them yesterday and it wasn't ready, but I saw someone else approved on 27th that already has a number.

No not yet we never try calling them yet hahah we are waiting till Sept 6 LOL

when i try to sign in with ceac it says

The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records. Please try again or contact the [/size]National Visa Center for further assistance. [/size]

i asked to the person he said call us we will tell you if we send it. :S

This weekend is long weekend in the US , it looks like some of us will have to wait longer to get nvc#.

I used to love long weekends, but not any more I guess ?

That's a generic update. No interview was scheduled. Just wait to hear from the consulate. The consulate will send out the first packet to the beneficiary within a week of the package getting there.

I have a question: how does the embassy get the first packet to the beneficiary? I know my embassy emails our packet 3 but they don't have his email only mine. They won't have his email until we send them the DS-160.
