I called NVC today and they don't have my case# yet... It's OK it's been only a week.. But he wasn't nice with me hhahahh it was like, when you got your paper? And I said last week and then he said that it could take 6 weeks! Whaaaaat!!! ..... Hopefully it won't take that long, I'll call them next week

i waited around 20 days to get my case number.

I recieved my noa1 June 24th 2016 no sign of my noa2. Some who filed after me have had their NAO2.

I wish that the would process applications in the order they receive them.

Stressful. To say the least.

Not even an RFE that way we could be reassured that our case was being dealt with

Dorothy, loOKs like you're back ahead of me! It's been 19 days since my noa2. No nvc yet.

We got the hard copy 2 work days later also. It was fast. But i can not schedule an interview yet even i got the case number. So i am gonna wait till friday to call them back

I just booked my Medical they charged me 425 euro which is about 480 US dollars. Apparently they've added a new blood test to the exam for sexually transmitted diseases like Gonorrhoea. This thing will bankrupt us fairly quickly.

Are you serious??? How can they justify that amount of money for a medical, that's absolutely outrageous

So the RFE we received a few days ago was because we co signed a single letter of intent, whereas they actually want one sent from both the petitioner and the beneficiary. Such a minor detail and it adds an extra two weeks to our wait time. My fiancé mailed it yesterday anyway so hopefully we get an approval before long.

We sent 2 different letters. Maybe they should change in guide, instead of both petitioners and beneficiary, they can type 2 letters one from beneficiary and one from petitioner. It would be more clear.

The guide does say it and It's in bold. It happens. There are so many things to keep track of it's easy for things to slip through the cracks. Good news is, it seems RFEs seem to get processed pretty quickly. Fingers crossed!

You can call if you want to, i called them 10 days later included weekends. they didnt have it, the person on the phone told me to call next week (i called them friday) and said it might take up to 6 weeks.

When I seen the address "Blackrock Clinic" I knew I was gonna get screwed. Apparently the whole thing takes about 10 mins 425 euro for at the most 20 mins work. Not bad work if you can get it.

I would say leave it a few more days maybe Friday. they might have it. But it's up to you. They're very helpful when you call them anyway. usually takes between 10-15 mins to get through.

Side note the lady today told me they only create a case number and then ship it to your selected embassy, they don't do any background checks at the NVC. This is why they probably get through the whole thing so quickly. Background checks are probably done by the embassy.
