Don't be sorry, I am a July filer and end of July, still early for me, I am just jumping here around smiling and wishing the best to all, pushing my luck, doing, working hard online, cooking, cleaning moving furniture for my fiance arrival, etc. etc. ... 1 thousands things at a time, very active and happy and sometimes very emotional too

You are right it was "met" not to be in a relationship, my bad... Maybe he can specify when they met in the declaration letter and problem solved:)

Don't worry JSH it's just the first step and you will fix it... I'm sure... most of the people get their NOA2 2-3 weeks later after receiving a RFE... It will worth the wait to spend a life together .

Look at me! Almost 4 years of relationship!! And we are finally getting married and spend our lives together :):) ... You just had to wait 10 months bah !that's nothing!! Lol

Also I heard that some are getting approval as early as 7-10 days after reply to RFE but maybe they are lucky. I know not to expect anything until 2-4 weeks wait and if it comes sooner better for us. ?

Actually one of the reasons that my fiancé wanted an attorney was this, that we are genuine in our relationship and there's no such thing as what u mentioned. An attorney wouldn't involve himself in a fraud.

The reason is love, I wish they could recognize our genuine intention and love.

We were totally informal on our declaration to marry we wrote it on one sheet of paper and signed it, I would have thought that declarations on affidavits would be plenty sufficient. You'll probably find out it's something so small that you will be saying "is that all"? Try not to worry too much it's all gonna be fine.

Shouldn't be. Our NOA1 was mailed to his parents' place. I think this one should mailed to an American address. We don't know how long it will take.His dad said it's still nothing now. I am thinking how long do we have to prepare the additional evidence after we receive it? I feel so bad that we can't track the mail to know where is it right now...

It usually takes 4 business days. As yours was sent on a friday add another day because of Sunday. You should get it tomorrow.

Does anyone know if there are fee's to be paid to the NVC ? As the k1 is non immigrant I can't see where the payment or if there is a payment to be made to the NVC ?

No, you don't pay to NVC, your fiance or your fiance location pays for the visa at the local bank, check your embassy instructions

I have everything crossed hoping for our NOA2 this week...it's so funny adjusting to each other's culture. We have been together a year and three months and I'm still amazed. He comes from São Paulo and I live in Arizona. In my experiences Americans think immigration from São Paulo improves the quality of life. My experience is that he improves my quality of life. I honestly think I could live in a cardboard box and be happy with him ❤️ Here's hoping everyone gets their approvals soon. Best of luck!!!
