Anyone has any idea when we get the RFE after it's being sent?

Yesterday I saw in the App the RFE being sent, I'm wondering when we get it.

We have sent all the things that our attorney said it's required all the tickets and passport stamps for him and me visiting each other, photos, his divorce papers, tax, birth certificates, intention of marriage, affidavits, passport photos, and the required forms.

What else could it be required that we didn't send?!

Have you been together for more than 2 years?

We didn't send declaration letter that explains our relationship but it was explained in affidavits.

Could it be the reason?

It could be a possibility, when I tought I gave all the documents to my lawyer (affidavit letter and the form where explains where did we meet) He asked me for a declaration letter from both of us explaining how we met, maybe not all of us need it but maybe He did all possible to avoid and RFE. (We didn't get one)...

I wish that it's something easy like that :) best of luck

Thank you ? When we hired an attorney and started the process it was about 10 months that we were together and we visited each other twice once me and and once my fiancé,

There is form called petition for alien fiancé and it's expiry date is June 30th we sent it on June 28th, is this problematic?

I don't think so, I filled my form dated in early may and then we hired our attorney and he sent our petition on June 18th so it was technically expired.

I don't know much, but when they ask you for evidence they ask for a declaration and proof of having met for the last 2 years and you have less than 2. What I think is that they want strong relationships and maybe they want to see if yours is really strong to support more time than ussual (maybe 2-4 weeks) I don't know, there has been some cases that people just apply for a fiance visa to get married and get the nationality in exchange of money. It has happend (I am not saying that's your case at all).. So sometimes they want to really get sure that you are in a formal relationship.

But thats only what I think it could be a possibility ?

So you don't have nothing to worry about it Im sure that you will get your NOA2 soon! :). And also you don't know yet what they want, I'll pray for you that it's something easy and quickly to fix.

Actually one of the reasons that my fiancé wanted an attorney was this, that we are genuine in our relationship and there's no such thing as what u mentioned. An attorney wouldn't involve himself in a fraud.

The reason is love, I wish they could recognize our genuine intention and love.

Thanks for ur reply, plz pray for us

You don't have to have a relationship for 2 years to Be able to apply. There is no rule for that. It only states that you have to of met within the last 2 years and be legally able to marry.

You are right it was "met" not to be in a relationship, my bad... Maybe he can specify when they met in the declaration letter and problem solved:)

Don't worry JSH it's just the first step and you will fix it... I'm sure... most of the people get their NOA2 2-3 weeks later after receiving a RFE... It will worth the wait to spend a life together :).

Look at me! Almost 4 years of relationship!! And we are finally getting married and spend our lives together :):):):) ... You just had to wait 10 months bah !that's nothing!! Lol

Does it matter? The attorney didn't say anything about that.
