about no approvals or not so many, I am a web designer and a programmer, somebody mentioned the past Wednesday USCIS website was on maintenance, it's probably the online slow down, not the files processing, after the maintenance or redesigning usually not everything is done at the back end or not everything is working well and some small fixing needs to be made here and there, I think the files are processed and approved as always but the upload online is not being done as programmers are working in the back

Whenever I get depressed I run this report. I set the number of rows displayed to 50.

It shows that 1/3 of the NOA2s for the 50 must recent have a NOA1 before my date.

We did not use an attorney. I just followed the I-129F checklist. I don't know if it made any difference, but I think our case is very simple compared to many others. This will be the first marriage for both of us. No kids. She has never left the Philippines, and my trip to meet her in person was my first time to leave the U.S. I am sure that many others would have more documents in their package.

Thanks all for the information! I hired an attorney, but I'm still waiting as I mentioned before. I send all of the documentation they asked from me and I'm not even sure what was sent to USCIS. Hopefully, everything that USCIS required. LOL I don't think I have an overly complicated case. I visited my fiancée 4 times before we submitted our I-129F, so there was plenty of evidence to support or ongoing relationship. Just goes to show you, no one knows why some cases are fast and others are slow. Makes you wonder what happens behind the scenes. Guess, I'll have to continue to wait and pray for a fast approval unless someone has any ideas? I tried to call USCIS and they said the case was within its normal processing time and had to wait 5 months. My attorney says the same thing. Anyone, have anything better?
